I belive this is a hard hitting comment to punks playing gangstars, unaware of; both the fact that it is not cool, and failing to even knowing what is going on in real criminal circles.
On this note i would like to express my feelings against this new gangsta shit that is going on in the "hip-hop" era these days. Dont get me all wrong I am a big fan of such gangsta rappers as Eazy-e, Dogg pound, Onyx and so on.. but when they came out it was called for. There was a need to pay attention to a growin problem in Urban America. Now we got people like 50-cent and god knowa who else is out there, making big money on lyrics containing nothing but sex,drugs and violence. With the risk of sounding like Rev. Jesse James I must admit that I belive this is polting the mind of our youth.
Please note that I am not a hater, I would never diss for example 50-cent on a personal note.
But like the great hip hop teacher KRS - ONE said ( when talking to a danish reporter after a concert in Copenhagen in june 2005, on the subject of 50 - cent and his likes ) " if you wanna go about it that way, thats fine with me, but it is not Hip - hop---"
